    Default Nice morning on Harris

Took a friend to harris this morning. He wanted to go catching not just fishing. Water temp 81*F and wind calm. Water clear. First thing we saw was Bass busting shad on top. We had a good time after finding some perch and crappie. Crappie were in 14 fow and the perch were over the top of them???? 25 perch and 23 crappie. Ultra-lite delight.

Sounds good guys. There was a bunch of people out fishing Saturday night. I have been slaughtered by white perch the last few trips. That lake is full of them.

Sporkd2, I thought you would still be saltwater fishing. Read your report on the other chat board.

There are not as many as there was. I ate a belly full of white Perch for supper last night. Really good eating.

Took my Father to Harris on Saturday and left the long rods at home--only ultralight with us. He had bream, crappie and perch last night for dinner and said all was very good eating.
