Hey,,,what gives? I see that over 400 views on one of my postings, but no postings for a week by anybody? So I am not going to post anymore of my fishing trips. Not going to tell you that I caught 22 today. It was slow. Took me over 6 hrs and they were 10" from 12". I did throw back numerous 9.5 inch fish and smaller. Not going to tell you some of the females are spawned out with others still not quite ready. Not going to tell you the water looked awesome and temp started at 71 at 6:45 am and at 2 pm it was 76. Not going to tell you only 6 other boats were fishing Lemmon and they were fishing the banks and shallow water and not catching anything at all. Not going to tell you they sprayed all the weeds around everybodys docks, and in front of their houses and that they should have fished where they didn't spray. Not going to tell you my area of the creek channels didn't produce and I had to find them in a diff. area 10-14' deep. Not going to tell you the colors of the crankbaits I was using or the depth they were running or the speed change up I made. Temp this morning launching was 54 and by 2pm it was 84,,,hot and calm, and no breeze. Didn't even have but 4 maybe pleasure boaters out then. Also caught 3 bass, largest was about 3 lbs, and got into a school of yellow perch, kept a couple about 11 inches. Not even going to post a pic of todays catch unless you guys start posting what your doing.
Keep fishing.

I'll try to make a post of our next trip. I havent been taking pictures, as nothing too eventful has happened lately. Really hate to make a post describing that I dont know what Im doing, and we spent 5+ hours to catch a handful of mediocre fish!

Daughter and I went to Lemon on Monday afternoon. Found water that was 75 degrees and the water was really dirty. Did manage to catch a few, had two 12 in crappie, 4 10 in crappie and a half dozen bluegill. Crappies were all caught using a crappie slider chat with orange fire tail and a Kalins triple threat in john deere color. The bluegill all were caught on had tied jigs that I tie chart head/black squirrel tail body. All fish came in 6 to 8 feet of water.Water was to muddy to see any bluegill nests, but never had a hit in shallow water where I had found them before. When we put in the lot had room for a couple of boats and only 2 trailers in over flow parking. When we took out, we were the only trailer in the lot. Stll had a good time fishing with daughter. Oh I forgot, she is 34 and I am 63.

I had to bump my trolling speed, today up to 1.7 to 2.0 mph changing it running cranks almost on the bottom changing the depths as the lake depth would change from 10' to 14'. Because of the weed kill, it was a pita to keep weeds off the hooks. Water was clearing up very nicely. If running next to the bank, I stayed out from it in 10' to. 12' also. Bass went back in the lake. There are some chunky yellow perch in the lake as well. Ate the perch and 8 crappies tonite. Main parking lot today was never full. Will play on Monroe tomorrow and see if I can snag a walleye.

Not going to tell you about my last weekend trip of about 50 bluegills. Not going to tell you about the awesome trip turning bad when my phone dropped into the lake faster than when the asteroid knocked off the dinosaurs. It's still too soon. Can't talk about it... sad face
