Mountain Creek is not as deep in my opinion. Usually some stained water closer to the back as well which helps fishing. Same with the state park area.

Found this out looking for brush to crappie fish
Couldn't find much brush to fish, only caught 2.
Anybody have any favorite creeks to fish on Norman? I enjoy one rod one hook fishing over brush, but I haven't been able to find a lot of structure to fish on in Norman yet, it all seems very deep.

Once you get enough post to receive messages, i'l message you some info, i fish norman a lot, one rod jigging all the time. mountain creek is a good place, rocky creek is good, there is brush , you just have to spend time just looking for brush and fish after you have found enough spots , then you can run from pile to pile and load up on the fish.
