Default Just one more day and it will be back to normal...

My plan for Saturday failed when I got to the ramp and found too much mud to deal with. So, I drove to the Rez, and headed upriver from 43 in hopes that it wouldn't be too bad... LOL, that worked till about 9 AM, and then the parade of party barges started... The fish weren't doing much, and I got really tired of fighting all of the wakes, so we packed it in, and decided to wait on better days.
The Rez should thin out by this afternoon, and I guess things will settle down this coming week... The weatherman says rain all week... But, I have a rainsuit!

Must be nice to be able to fish during the week. I wouldn't even bother with weekends after middle of May thru the end of August. Fished the lower lake yesterday after the storms cause wind was pretty bad on the big lake (Sardis), the fleas had the same idea unfortunately. Then they got started on the big lake this morning around 10-10:30am.. fishing wasn't that good anyway so I packed up and headed to the ramp. Got a nice surprise back at my campsite, tent was gone along with my air mattress, sleeping bag, pillows, aluminum foil and a pack of went ones I left on the picnic table. Summer brings out the worse in some people, and the inconsideration of pleasure boaters, jet skiers is darn near intolerable..

Are you kidding me? What a bunch of low lifes, stealing a camp? I have heard of that happening in the national forest, when some folks went hunting... I guess they don't figure on anyone showing up while they are in the process...

Figure I'd call the field office tomorrow and let them know. No use bothering a busy ranger with a report on probably the most crowded holiday of the year. Not a huge deal to me, why I buy cheap wally world stuff, I'm out $75, the folks who took it are in a lot worse shape then me apparently. They loot some burgers, buns, charcoal and lighter fluid then they can setup on a site not paid for and dwell in their misery on a holiday that is meant to honor heroes, just the world we live in unfortunately..

Lol, I'm actually thankful I didn't catch them in the act. My site was really inaccessible almost 4wd needed after the rains last night. Left the S&W .40 at the house, I favor the G43 nowadays.. who knows where it would have went from there. Oh well, lesson learned only reason I didn't pack up is cause was letting tent dry out for a few hours. Anyways, back home got the charcoal lit and the beer top popped, y'all have a good Memorial Day!!
