You have the perfect boat to sit on the front deck with your feet in the floor facing backwards with your trolling racks mounted to the gunwales. No climbing up and down off a deck or anything.

I have a Wareagle with bases mounted on the front. The back is similar to yours. I just got two new bases and, after much debate, mounted them in the back corners, about where that guy's left foot is, but a little closer to the the gunwale.

Exactly what I was thinking reese, weigh towards the front makes it track better in rough water also, just my opinion

Mounting up front and fishing backward like Ree's said is way more comfortable. Like blueball said weight forward makes it track better.

What John and Cray said...I won't pull any other way..Don't have to get out of the seat to touch any rod...get with one of us, and try this way before you mount them

Let me clarify something. I mounted my extra bases on the back, but I have not used those yet. I have the same bases mounted to my gunwale using the Wareagle T-bolt system, and I pull using those while facing backwards. I can slide them anywhere along the rail.
