Default Needing some help on a case from our Smithville bouys

The house of this elderly lady who was raped and burglarized is about a mile and a half from where everyone parks to bank fish near the back of Rock Creek. I will not go into any details as to what happened to this eighty-something year old lady for obvious reasons. Let's just say it was bad.

This happened last Friday, one week ago. And we still need your help.

There is a chance this guy may frequent the area for crappie fishing. First and foremost, please be careful. Secondly, if you see or remember anything or anyone who is acting weird (maybe camping in an unauthorized area or avoiding contact with anyone or just being a little goofy), please let us know.

Normally, this is where I would poke fun at Keeferfish or Joedog. Frankly, I'm not in a joking mood right now...

I will attach the press release the Sheriff's Office sent out.

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. -- Investigators are looking for leads following a burglary and sexual assault that was reported at a home on Friday (5/12/17) at about 10 a.m. The crimes happened in the area of F Highway and King Road according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators describe the suspect as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, and he may have been wearing a maroon, short-sleeved shirt. The victim was an elderly female whose black leather purse was taken.

If you were in the area of F Highway and King Road that morning and saw a suspicious vehicle or person walking, you should call detectives at (816) 407-3700.
I believe in catch and release.....right into the grease!!!!!
