I have a set of EZ's singles on my boat. Best investment I've made. They are easy to take on and off and even easier to adjust. Not to mention, they are as solid as a rock. Wouldn't use anything else....period.

You're welcome, Gabepeeps. These would work on the windshield side as well with minor adjustments.

I first started with Driftmaster. Totally unhappy. You need a wrench for all adjustments. No height adjustment at all.

Then went with 4 rod holders from Millinium Spyderlok. I absolutely love them. No wrenches needed. Quick remove and theft proof when you use security screws. Best side to side adjustments on the market hands down. I love the height adjustment. Second best up and down holding power. If you really crank down they can slip a bit but nothing like the Drfitmaster. However for catfishing I went with Elite Rod Holders. They are strongest things on the market. Never slip up and down. They actually tighten the more pressure you put on them and the built in thandle for the up and down adjustment is bombproof. You still need a wrench to adjust left and right tho but Jesse does make left and right hand threads so once you get them where you want they are there to stay. For that reason, I use them for crappie cranking too. Jesse with Elite is a great guy and will do whatever you need. If there was a way to combine the two it would be perfect.

I do use the Drfitmaster road locker. It is the best theft proof transport rack out there.

I was lucky enough to fish out of BRM's new rig (at least it was his new rig a month ago) and his setup with the Capps singles sure were nice. Easy to adjust and liked how you could pull them back to where they were just right and adjust the rod angle. Course I have the driftmasters and about anything seems to be better. Now the price of his setup discourages me from upgrading.

Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
