Glad to hear your doing well John !!
The finest gift you can give to any fisherman is to put a good fish back, and who knows if the fish that you caught isn't someone else's gift to you?"

At 8:00 AM was delivered to surgery and the procedure was over before 9:00 AM. Went to the recovery room and was discharged from there by 9:45AM. Was driven home by my wife, and got home by 10:30 AM.

Post Op visit with Doctor (Surgeon) Monday morning, removed patch, examined eye and said everything is GOOD. Need to wear the patch over the eye when sleeping, drops in the eye every 4 hours. Next office visit in a week.

Probably the "easiest" surgery that I have experienced. Been thru back 3 times, last time left with two rods about 12 inches long each, attached with total of 8 screws. cataract 3 times, one eye twice.

Not looking forward for any more, but was told long ago, IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY CONFIDENCE IN YOUR DOCTOR, YOUR RECOVER WILL NOT BE AS YOUR HAD HOPED FOR.
THANKS FOR ALL OF THE REPLIES.
I understand I've had three back surgeries looks like I'm going to need a couple more no fun but hey getting old ain't for sissies. Hope u get better quick
