I haven't seen a Ranger on a Georgia lake in 15 years. I hate to say it, but I don't think nobody has much to worry about but their conscience. I wish there was more Rangers.

they checked the last boat i bought last year when i came in to the landing they said i was making a wake in a no wake zone i barley had in in gear i thought maybe it was my wife in the back it is a stick staring. they were on the bank wit bernocklers looking over the water for boating violations . they can get the # off your boat and send you a citation . witnessed one met a sky do driver at the ramp chewed hem out and gave hem a ticket for playing to close to other boats . they just don`t have enough wardens out there . got 2 fishermen using a shocking devise up the flint not long ago $400.00 per person . the other county on the other side of the river it is $800.00 .

Thank you hotwater for taking the time to record and share with the crappie. Com community.
As far as rangers, i usually see them about twice a year on average at the hill. One ranger admitted that they are way understaffed. They are out a lot on calls. See them usually around holidays.
