correct me if I am wrong but if you get the 1099 for the retail value of the boat won't you owe another 3-5 thousand at tax time. Question is Who gets the 1099?

Correct me if I'm wrong. But that certificate says a 90 hp. That boat would be around 25-26,000 . If so that's a deal. Till you go to buy a tag.
