Harris 5-12-17 report
This board has been way too dead lately. I know someone has been fishing.
Went to Harris around 4 today and fished till about 8. Used 5 dozen minnows catching a ton of white perch, catfish, bluegills and 29 crappie. Fish were very hungry today and I was surprised by how big the crappie were with very few dinks being caught. Fished one cove from 8 to 15 FOW and caught just about all of them over brush.

Alright hockey you can give us the ten digit grid whenever you are ready, haha
I have been out at Harris the past two weekends tearing up some bluegills and shell crackers, last week it was crickets and this week it was yellow curly tail grubs. But I do miss me some slab crappies, I will start chasing them again soon it's just hard to pass up 11 inch gills.

Gills that big are fun to catch. I haven't tried to target then but i occasionally luck into one. If we can get this night stalk date figured out you should jump in.

You out fished me. I went yesterday. Fished 11 to 25'. Lord and lots of little ones. Only 4 keeper tough
I did see quite a few boats fishing for Sunfish.

Hockey I would jump on the chance to learn from you and the other guys on how to night fish, I bought my LEDs and clear pvc I just haven't gotten around to building my lights yet. The honey do list has taken priority, haha. But as long as it isn't this coming weekend I should be able to make it.
Also not all of them were 11inch gills but some of them are, most are riding the 8-9.5 range.
