Default Bass Fisherman were swarming like mosquitoes

Arrived at the north end of the lake today to find all the parking spots taken, found another spot to put in, but everywhere I went I had bass boats flying 65 mph all around me, reminded me of attacking mosquitoes or knats! I guess they would not mind me ripping bye them at 12 yards while there fishing a point

Patty and I rode around the lake this afternoon and saw that parking lot. We counted the rigs and kept losing count after going past 285 and 290. That wasn't counting the ones parking up on top in the park area. The sign said Cherokee ranger classic.

Sorry for that, that's why I do not fish the big lakes on weekend, of course, I am retired.

It looks about like that every weekend during this time of year.

It gets plumb nuts at times. When I use to fish from there a lot my wife use to go with me. So she had to park the truck LOL. I generally try to watch for bass tournaments...but I did go a few times during the pre fish on some FLW and Bassmaster tournaments. It's even bad around here on the small lakes when they have them...just not enough parking.

is why we fished Barkley today. I've started tracking the bass tournament dates on the north end just so I can avoid them.

It was crazy on the lake yesterday, trash from the high water and lots of green carp fisherman.

That's some pretty regimented parking. There's no way those are all bass fisherman unless they had valet parking. Most bass fishermen take up several spots.

It's sad how a lot of people won't slow down when passing dinnertime fishing. It has been happening to me a lot here lately. On reelfoot Lake could weeks ago I saw fishing a ditch along with 10-15 other boats and all sudden this guy comes through there flying with a 175 horse. He never checked up and I could of walked over in his boat when he passes me. I was a mad sum b. 2 hrs later I went over to another place and there he was. I run circles around him till he left that spot. There's no sense in people speeding by someone fishing. People have no respect these days for anyone or anything
