Thread: Addiction problem

Crank baits are an addiction. Trust me when I say that. One thing I have learned however in the professional aspect (guiding clients or tournament fishing). Never, and I mean never purchase one single lure at a time. Always, I cannot stress enough, always purchase 2!!! Even if that means you don't get to buy another color at that time. You will regret getting one.

Bought a crank a few years back (single one) and took it fishing. It caught fish, and a ton of them. Couldn't find that discontinued color ever again!
I fish with custom painted cranks most of the time. Every company, painter, and bait shop is different. If I find one I like, I buy two. More than likely I will NEVER find it again.

A few years back we were testing some new salmon spoons. A local painter had a few and I purchased several different ones. One in particular caught TONS of fish. One after another as a matter of fact. No other company had anything like it. I went back for more and he was gone. To top it off, no one could ever reproduce the color again!

Rewarding way to catch crappie. Fun, fun!!
