This is a easy and cheap way to make your own crappie nibbles. Take a can of sweet corn and put into a mason jar. Then take a packet of grape koolaid and add to corn. Add half a cup of sugar to mix. Shake up contents of jar to mix ingredients. Then microwave on high for60-90 seconds to break down sugar crystals. Shake up again and its done. You can flavor corn with anything you want koolaid, garlic, vanilla, coffee, rootbeer, Dr pepper, you can make your own custom flavors w virtually anything you think fish might like. I like grape and cherry koolaid myself. But I'm gonna try the vanilla out next. I usually transfer into babyfood jars once I have made a batch. They will fit into your tackle box perfectly. GOOD FISHING!
This sounds like something I'm going to try. One question for you. Do you drain the corn before you put it in the Mason Jar?
Or do you leave it to help dissolve the sugar and the kool-aid?
