    Default Henderson 5/2/2017

Last week I had 5 rejects and one escape artist. Can't get much worse unless I have to take some fish there and make a deposit. Any place I fish would be about the same so I might as well go where the water looks nice.

Got some Mississippi Kites nesting in the front yard. Really neat bird to watch fly.

I would recommend lake verret/grassy lake/polurde areas. I have fished all of them this past month and done well

I totally understand....but, I went there yesterday and did find 3 and lost a few....been feeling under the weather lately and did not get to go when the water was falling good...now it is rising again and that and slowed the bite...think I would have done better when the water was falling good....but the water did look good all over.....

I thought about those, but it seems very far from here.

Caught 4 and nothing big. The East West high line has blown down in the area of the Phillips. Two wildlife boats were guarding to keep someone from running into the wire which is just under the surface at the entrance. Quite a few spans down.

Got back to Basin Landing around noon and saw quite a few boats bunched in the boulevard to the West of the landing. Don't know what that's all about, but I never move toward a crowd.

I wondered why the Wildlife guys had so many folks there.....

Those winds also put a few more laydowns next to the bank...
