I caught some on Washington in March on cranks. Drag em by and see if they hit em!

Think you would have done better pushing in those areas Don. It was a workout for me last Thursday trying to pull cranks back there. More control on pushing, depth and turning ability. Wish I would have done it that way. Plus I pull cranks with big motor, I think 1.8 - 2mph was a bit to fast for them. I would like to have gotten down to 1.3 - 1.5 to have gotten a few more bites. Can't wait to get a day with winds under 15mph here so I can go give it a shot.

I tried 1.8 to 3.3 mph. Lol I thought about that but didn't try it. The way my rod holders are set up on the side rails of my boat, pulling is just to easy.

Such an awesome lake, been sort of fascinated with it here as of late,, Lol. Ya'll got no ramp fees, no long walk to truck, channels are more than adequately marked. Ledges and stump fields galore, weed beds, lily's' etc.. man those channels just twist and turn and fish hold on sides or the top of them, only problem I ran into is no open flats to pull freely back there.. Oh well, it won't be long for our turn. Think I may sneak off real early mornin' some-wheres.. heck with werk

There's a few open flats down the lake to pull in. I've done well there in the summers

You couldn't pay me to fish Saturday. I'm heading to the farm to bush hog and clear trails. OK, I'm taking the john boat and TM with me to. Since my Bream ain't big enough, I'm hitting the back waters of the Pearl River with crickets and ultralight. try and catch a few redbellies and such.
