    Cabelas Credit Card service was bought out by Capital One some time ago. The "deal" has never been off but it may take anti trust lawyers years to come up with an answer all the while Cabela's stock is going down.

    Looks like another group bought out Cabela's financial on Monday. I still dont see how this buy out doesnt break many anti trust laws but I guess we will see what the feds have to say about it sometime in the future

    According to the referenced letter, the Cabelas Foremost Bank, which includes the Credit Card division, will be sold to a bank in Georgia. This bank has agreed to sell the Credit Card business to Capitol 1 as soon as the acquisition is complete. As of this time Cabelas still owns the credit card business. Everything still requires approval of the government and stockholders. The open letter is still posted on their website.
