Thanks Damion I have been out in a kayak a couple of times lately and seem to pay for it afterwards. The back gets stirred up and hurts for some time afterward. Still hurting today from Saturday's trip and I was only out 2 to 3 hours, I am wondering if it is worth it. I have not given up, I am looking at more seat mods and possibly a different kayak with a better seat. This may cause me to quit kayak fishing at least until the back gets totally well and back in my boat. Hopefully I will have my boat ready to go by this Saturday.

    flintcreek,

We'll have to meet this Saturday, you can use my Native, Ultimate 12. I think you'll find the seat is amazing, like sitting in a lawn chair in the front yard.

Ditch, sounds good. I don't want to give up my kayak fishing but I have to find a more comfortable seat so I am not suffering for going.
