Wow, Mike, ya'll ought to have enough fish for the fish fry now. Lol. Way to go. Black Lake looks muddy compared to Grand Bayou.

I took off work a little early Fri and ran over to Grand Bayou to meet Pastor to see if we could pick up any scraps that Maxwell328, Duckcomando and Juicy might have let behind from thursday lol. I ended my day with a dozen nice sacalait but as I was leaving, an older couple that saw me spider rigging trolled up to me and told me they were staying at the resort and were looking to catch some crappie. I gave them some tips and offered them my fish and they were more than happy to accept!!
Saturday, a buddy of mine figured that we didn't have enough fish for our church fish fry next weekend so I took him out to my camp on Black Lake to set out some catfish lines. We ended up with 44 nice catfish. (These pics are some of the biggest laying across a 72 qt icechest)

Yes sir Pastor, we have plenty now for sure! It was very muddy and had a swift current up by the camp but that little front Saturday night really turned em on!

How bad is the salvinia around the bridge?
Nice CATS, and beautiful fishing spot for sure.
If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.![]()

OH MY!! I had no idea it was that bad. I guess there is no fishing around the bridge anymore. How sad. I spent many a day on that lake in my younger days.
