    Default Archusa 4/20/2017 report

Caught enough for tonight's supper. 76° Water temp. 70-80° weather temp. wind was 3-6 mph just a beautiful morning for crappie fishing. Found a few fish in 11'-13' water about 6'-7' deep around and close to brush tops, cover, etc. had to fish very slow with minnows. Caught a bunch of real small size that was threw back for the next year's catch. Wife told me not to give my catch away as she was going to fry up some for supper. Well caught one very good size crappie about 16" and it made the rest of the fish in my picture look small. Looks like the spawn may be about over around here as most of the fish have moved out to deeper water. Hope everyone is having a good crappie year also.

Nice report Scrat. That one is a toad. I'd rather have those smaller ones on the plate though.
