Does anyone have any Red ear reports for Ky Or Barkley ? I've been hearing of people starting to catch them, but haven't heard if the were on beds or how deep they are.

banchaser, Good info on the Bluegills and Crackers, Coming down in Early May. Can you do some Voodoo magic and keep them 'killin the bobber rigs' until I can get there?

I just got in from fishing and we caught 22 chunky bluegill and two average redears. The bluegill were colored up and came into the boat peeing everywhere. They were caught really close to shore. I'm a little concerned about the redear, I haven't caught any big ones to speak of yet.

Something is going on with the Asian Carp. They are swimming in circles on top of the water and dying. It seems they've been poisoned...it would be nice to have transparency on what is really going on.

Paul Rister of the KYFW says in a FB post it is a virus that affects only the Silvers during the spawn when they are stressed. No effect on the others.

Saw KFW pick up a lot of silvers in Willow. The fish have some kind of red ick. Hope it does not spread.Saltwater fish are getting herpes virus all over the world!!

That's interesting, I wish it would kill all of those carp. They sure look like they're completely out of it, I figured KFW had juiced em real good...maybe I was just hoping they did that.lol.
