Thread: Chickamauga Report 4/17/17

After seeing the other post about cranking for crappies it made me want to get out and get a few.

I trolled crankbaits for about 3.5 hours and had plenty of action. I landed 1 white bass, 1 yellow bass, 2 channel cats, 3 spotted bass, and 8 white crappie. One of my of my lines was also broken at the strike by a big fish. All of the crappie were keepers measuring between 12-14 inches. I also kept the spots to eat. I have not eaten a bass for years but thought I would give it a try. I was running the baits at about 6-7 feet deep and the water temp ranged from 63.7 - 70.4 degrees.
