Glad you got out for a little while and found some fish. I'm sure that family really appreciated those fish too.

Got out this evening for a little while hit the water about 340 and was on the trailer by 715. Went and tried some new water and think I'll be able to go back and catchem now that I eliminated a bunch of water in that area. Ended up catching 15 total and had 10 keepers. Was fishing 3-6 FOW. Water temp was anywhere from 77-80 according to depth. Color didn't seem to matter caught them on a little of everything. Ended up giving the keepers to a family bank fishing.

Fishing is a privilege...catching is a bonus. Enjoy each precious moment we have to experience our great outdoors!
Great trip! It's always fun to chart new waters, and like you said it takes awhile to eliminate the nonproductive water, but once you find the good stuff, it's on!!
