    Prayer Request Blackshear tomorrow

Going to try and redeem myself from last week and try it again. Any advice on how the bite has been this week?
    Thanks

    Hi Brimfisher,

Took my son fishing Wed, first time we fished out of my bass boat in 25 or so years together, we both are new to crappie fishing, but he caught a couple crappies throwing a beetle spin around a grass bed in about 3 foot of water (66 degree water). I caught over dozen bass but only 6 were over 14", all fish were in the back of coves, lightly stain water.
We did watch a couple catch several out near the mouth in about 10 foot of water (around 70 degree water) on the way out.
All the fish we cleaned had layout, Sorry I can not help more, area fished was just above dam on he west side.
    Charlie

PS: I was born in Hahira 70 years ago, we moved to Albany 6 months after I was born.

Well We didn't do to well. The wind just made it hard for me to control my little boat, but I did hit for the cycle. We caught White Crappie, Black Crappie, Black Nose Crappie, and White bass. All in about 16ft of water with orange heads and a monkey milk tail. We had fun. That's what counts.
