Another banner day at Taylorsville Lake ...
4/12/17 - 10AM-5PM - My buddy, Paul, and I went to Taylorsville to do some C&R fishing.
Total fish caught - around 80
Total Crappie keeper count - around 60
My big fish of the day - a 6lb Largemouth 
2nd biggest - a 4lb Hybrid Striper
Baits used -
-1/16oz custom tied Pink Roadrunner (Thumpit Jigs)
-1/8oz Slabalicious Roadrunner (Popsicle)
-Slabanator Deuces Wild pink/char plastic body (custom made by Slabeye)
-Texas Star plastic body (pink/char) by Snake River (Bob's Jigs)
-Both plastic bodies were on 1/16oz weedless jigheads (custom made by Grousefly)
Water temps - 60-65 deg
Water color - stained but clearing
All fish caught were in <10fow ... most in <5fow
We both had a LARGE TIME !!

You had a great day. Fished Taylorsville today with minnows, and they were small. Bought at Briar Hill. Bunch of short fish. Most keepers in 20 ft of water about 12 ft down. Very light wind.
