    Default Dark Night

I realized halfway through that I should have tied the black on first and lighter after so that it more closely simulates the lighter underbelly of a baitfish.

The other reason is that the black hackle I found at Field and Stream is fairly stiff and straight. The SW Hackle has a natural curve that caused the two colors to separate. When the SW Hackle is put on second, the curve closes the gap between the two colors.

Oh well, maybe the fish won't care?
