It's funny you bring this up. This winter, more times than ever, I've had boats come up and fish the same dock as I'm fishing. Now they can see my boat is pointed in the direction that I'm traveling, but they come in right in front of me. On the Same Dock! I usually say REALLY! One guy said, "We're in a tournament, this is one of our spots." Another one said, "We've traveled 10 miles down to here and have had luck on this dock".. What's crazy is, we're the only boats on the lake! I don't really make a big deal out of it, because there are plenty of other area's I can fish, but come on. If I ever crowd somebody on a dock, is because I didn't see them, and I'll move as soon as I realize what I did.

Had something similar today when I came around a point and ran into someone fishing in the same direction. He was set on one spot and I was moving pretty quickly. When I got within a dock away I took up my line, set my trolling motor on high, and proceeded to go past him well away from his boat. Still wasn't good enough for him and he smarted off thinking he could lay claim to the entire bank. If someone is legitimately crowding you then sure that's rude but if they are just passing by, whatever happened to a smile and how's it going?
