Default More ammo in the stockpile

Tied up some 1/8 rubber tails for myself yesterday and then this morning my buddy hits me up for a refill on some 1/16 jigs he's been doing well on lately.

For some reason the chartreuse tail doesn't photo very well

Good work. That rubber takes some getting used to.

    Masterful.

I've got some rubber skirty stuff, but never learned or tried to tie it.
    Any tips?

It's not hard. I like to start at the back when I tie it in, make a few wraps to the front to line it up on the shank then tie it down tight so it won't twist on the shank.

You would think it's no where near as good as a hair or feather jig but the last couple trips dad and I have made together he's been picking up fish behind me on these while I was using kip or hackle jigs

Can I send you a few pics over PM? Just to see if I have the same strands you're using? I'd appreciate it very much
