    Default Mrs.20's pet

For those that only know my family through what you see here, you have no idea the kind of circus I live in on a daily basis.

This is my wife's pet she rescued when he was just a pinkie. ( no fur)

His name is Sid and you can see he likes his junk food...

Love the pet Jimmy. Does he have free run of the house? I knew a guy one time that had a pet raccoon. That coon was into everything. And, I dated a girl one time that had a pet skunk. Needless to say that that relationship went no where. LOL.

No, he stays in a multi level cage that used to house ferrets. I couldn't handle him being out all the time, he doesn't respect my personal space. Mrs.20's pet

She had a cat squirrel for a while also. I made her turn him loose though after he worked my finger over like a kid eating corn on the cob.

He was much more wild than this one is though.

Anytime someone finds a wild animal that needs care they call my wife. Lol. As I'm sitting here writing this there's a box in front of me with a baby opossum waiting to be released. He's leaving as soon as these storms pass through.

Someone found some babies in the road clinging to their dead mother and decided even opossum lives matter.

Two of them died the next day and there's one left. Other two didn't take to feeding as well as this one.

Excellent Jimmy, you folks are very fine people. We do the same with the young wildlife here. Registered the multiple acres here as a wildlife refuge a few years ago. All the critters are safe here. Unbelievable what's out here once we did that - tons of squirrels, rabbits, deer, bobcats, etc. One of the boxes I built for the young squirrels, rabbits, etc.

We also have a large kennel for dogs that are dumped on the road. We find good homes and safe places for all.

Thank you for doing what you do.

Hey Jimmy. You know Leanne is in vet school. The school rehabs the baby squirrels and allows the students to raise em then release them. Well she rehabbed "Gus" and as you know they are easy to get attached to. I had to threaten her to get her to release it when it was old enough. Lol.
