Default Went to the Ditch to Kick at the Cotton Mouths

Just outside of Sterlington The fish Looked more like Post Spawn there and caught 5 BLACK crappie and one White.... I am Not use to catching Gar but 2 desided to hit the minnow... Had a tough time getting the Grand daughter to put the net under them... The bottom and the Structure is some of the Best I have seen. As we got to the Ramp a Fellow using Crickets had tore them up,,, Bream that is.. Bro broke a line and while getting it rigged-- he put his belley across his Salters Pole and Broke the Upper section.. After Cleaning the Fish I repaired the Broke Salters.. That is only the Fourth Time that Pole Has Been In My Emergency Room for a splint and Epoxy Job

Reading your report Larry, you need to tote the crickets the next time out. This time of year I pack the shiners and crickets, although I just fish for fun.
