Thread: black crappie --- where did they go ?

I think that some spawn in February and some still spawn into May. Also think for every one fish that is spawning around a cypress tree in 2 foot of water, there are one or two more spawning out a ways, like under your boat or behind your boat when you are fishing those trees.

I think that blacks spawn at 68 degrees and whites at 72. So If you are seeing whites that are about to pop, the blacks have already come and gone.
