I was blessed with another memorable day of single pole crappie fishing in North Ms. I got to the Lake with No Name around 2:00pm and left at 5:30pm.



With plenty of crappie in the freezer I really enjoy catch-n-release.



Maybe I will get to see them again.



Maybe you will get to see them again.



All the bank fishermen were making disparaging remarks...



I don't think they approved of my catch-n-release.



Even the fish seemed a little confused at their sudden liberty...



I ended the afternoon with a total of 7 catch-n-releasers and an additional 4 under the 12" limit.

Took my cousin to catch some pigs. This was his biggest to date. When I told him we were gonna release her he never questioned me. I explained that we had to leave the females this time of year due to the spawn. Fish was 15.5" and about to pop. I couldn't give you a definite weight bc I don't have scales..but I'd say she was between 2.5 and 3...I will be getting some scales soon

I released all mine before they get in boat.
