I fish, therefore I am!
It always amazes me how some folks react to message boards...
I used to get these same negative remarks when I was posting pictures from Lakeview Lake back around 2009 - 2011. Some people actually think that if you post pictures and the name of the lake that all of a sudden people will DISCOVER that lake and it will become overloaded with fishermen... I know for a fact that all of these Corps lakes have already been discovered and are ALREADY crowded and overloaded with fisherman. This past weekend you could have almost walked from spider-rigging boat to spider-rigging boat. So me posting pictures and talking about big crappie on Arkabutla obviously won't contribute to that as someone posted earlier as it is already occurring.
And by the way... If ANYONE can get me a key to the gate at Lakeview, then I will be MOST GRATEFUL and can then start posting pictures of some of those hogs I was catching there too.. Yes that lake is full of Asian Carp and gar.. But it is also has plenty of crappie too, just like the other oxbows I fish like Desoto, Melwood and the cutoff.
If I am luck enough to catch some crappie, regardless of where I catch them, I will continue to post pictures and talk the lake up as I like. Sorry if that offends some people, but nobody can please everybody...
