Default Riverpark and Chickamauga Lake reprot: 3/27/2017

I did a double trip today. I took Raymond Reed to Riverpark to fish for bass. It was a very poor morning. Low flow and we only managed to catch 3 spotted bass, 2 white bass, and 2 big Skipjack. We fished with swimbaits.
After I let Raymond off, I went home and rested for a couple of hours and then decided to crappie fish in the afternoon. I went alone. I did catch 9 keepers and a couple of short fish. The males were on spawning banks and had their black tux on, and the females were about 3-4 feet deeper. I also caught fish on off shore cover.
I fished with Bass Assassin Pro Tiny 2" Limetreuse Glow and Bobby Garland 2" Full Moon shads on 1/24 oz jig heads. About 50/50 on the different lures, although the colors were very close. I think the morning bite would be better. Grin.
