We spent spring break at biue mt. campground full and a lot of crappe fishers.Lake is several feet low our first time there wind was bad lake got dirty after the rain.We caught around 120 nice crappie 9 in. length limit also got a few catfish and some bass none over 15in.We used minnows and jigs best color was blk. chart. nice lake 85 mi. drive from conway.I stopped at lake Overcup on way home not a boat to be seen on lake not a good sign. I stopped at Dardnelle dam river low only flow was from power plant no boats a few bank guys fishing.I did see a really nice crappie boat at blue mt. an Express center drive rigged for spider fishing tan or white color. We did not catch any BIG crappie 10-13 mostly good eaters. We had a good time on a new iake to us'

    Sounds like a great trip.

Seems like the crowds get worse every year out there. I'm sure spring break didn't help. Was there last weekend and had to idle from hise hill to the lake because of all the boats.
