    I use wally marshall signature series rods and shimano reels. Like JordanLimit says, reels from Monk. He also has a good selection of rods.

    Go check out monkscrappie.com He has tons of different crappie stuff from rod holders to jigs. He also has rod packages (4) 10ft rods for $50. It is a 1 stop shop there. Hope this helps!!!

    I sure do appreciate all the information, I am at work now but will process it when I get home. I went to Alabama with a guide last year and he was long-lining and we caught several nice crappie. I hope I can figure it out and add it to my arsenal. Thanks everyone

    I have decided to order the 2000's from Monks and buy some BnM locally, Thanks for the help

    I've had many b&m rods and all but 2 of them have broke in the middle 2 broke when bring a crappie in. My money goes to southern crappie rods
