That's a nice fish. Congratulations! I am hoping the weather between now and next Saturday will cooperate and especially Saturday. I hope to be able to fish Saturday.

fished this morning and as I suspected the lake is now muddy from the recent rain and the temp. fell 4 degrees. I did manage to catch my best fish so far this year on a black and chart. southern pro jig tipped with a crappie nibble. This one measured 151/4 and was caught in 16ft of water on a brush pile, caught a couple of dinks but it seems now that they have a case of lockjaw. With more rain in the forecast who knows how long it will be before the action picks up again

You don't catch that size crappie in Greers Ferry very often anymore. We used to back in the 60's and 70's but not now. If I'm not mistaken, I think D10 said that Greers Ferry had the slowest growth rate for crappie in his district. So it would be interesting to know how old it is. Good job.
That's a nice fish!!!
Very nice!!!!!
Sweet cat in the background, crappie fishing in luxury.
