I did manage a few at the mouth of the cove just north of the s curves on the Western side around the 25 foot mark, marked the speraticaly through out the area.

Check the mouths of some coves. I went this evening and fished in 27 FOW and pounded them. Run out of minnows tonight at 10:30 with a final count of 70. Of that 70 probably 30 keeper size but I released them all. When it turned dark I dropped some lights in the water and was catching them at 8 feet in 25 FOW. Robeson Creek was packed with boats but I never saw anyone catch anything and the few guys I stopped to talk to said they weren't really catching much of anything. I personally think it's still too early for Robeson. I never wet a hook in there with all the boat traffic and I tend to fish as far away from the pack as possible. Spend some time watching your fish finder and cover a good bit of water until you find them. Don't stop at one spot and just start fishing. I move around for several minutes until I find them stacked up. Cover all depths because sometimes you'll find them in 5' and other times you'll find them in 30' within a 24 hour time period. Once you get the hang of this you'll have no problem locating them. Don't fish blind, use the electronics you spent the money on.

I was out Saturday afternoon with my son. They were shallow in a few spots and when we finally found a hot bank it was non-stop action - but it wasn't like that in all of our "usual" spots. It's been an odd spring with the temperature variation. Posted this video of some of our Saturday action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UAgi4UkZuJo

Young man was reeling them in faster than you could shake a stick.
Great video, thanks for the uplift of having to work and not going. Makes my time off coming up better, just knowing that I might be able to catch a few like you guys were! I got a plan now!

Nice video! I'm glad someone found some fish Saturday. If I don't go to the coast I'll be back out there this weekend. I usually longline but you made jigging look so easy I might have to work it into my routine!

We fished on Sunday and only caught 3 or 4 perch. We actually fished where you were and caught nothing! I think you guys caught them all!!! :^) One thing, though, I was surprised at how little bait I graphed compared to December.
