Thread: Feelin Special

A few days ago I got a text from my youngest son asking me if we could go fishing. I played it cool, "I'll check my schedule but I believe I can make it happen". My son works hard at his job and knew he must have scheduled me in. I'll go as far as to say his wife had a hand in our trip also, she's expecting the first of May and she's off on Fridays. The two of them make me feel special. This morning came and so did the wind. I remembered a spot that would for the most part, be out of the wind. My day was made when he yelled from the back of the boat, you see he hadn't gotten his second line in when he landed that dandy white. From that point on he continued to spank me all day long. On the ride home we talked about being to someday tell Kenton, my next grandson, how his dad beat grampaw at fishin. Love my family!

Love it when my family comes to visit....don't always fish cuz I love to see them enjoy what I truly love to do. Dang it..now I might cry.
