I can't help you with Larto, but wanted to say welcome to the forum.

I have a camp in the new campground and cabins just west of the store. I fish there almost exclusively for the last 4 years but I'm still learning every time out.

I fish with shiners here and there, but jigs are what I prefer. Don't have to keep re baiting and can cover lots of water. I don't like a cork if I'm fishing heavy cover cause I get hung a lot. It's easy to get baits unhung if there is nothing above them on the line.

Jfiski, I have an RV at Larto Cabins. I seem to only have success spider rigging. Do you troll or just drift and jig?

I use my electronics to find brush piles and under water structure that look like they have fish. I mark the fish then I'll troll back over it and fish it for 5 or 10 minutes. If I dont get bit, I move on and do it again. My grandfather used to tell me don't try to make em bite, move on and find the ones that want to bite. I don't typically catch my limit with this method, but I can usually catch 20-30 solid fish. I only fish from late January to June. I spend my summer months doing work at the camp and fishing a little saltwater. Then come October, I'm hunting till January and repeat the process. I would probably learn to become a better spider rigger if I fished the winter months, but I don't. I feel the method I use works good for the months I fish, whether I'm fishing in a foot and half to 10 feet of water. Hope this helps.
