Back in the day, when I didn't hate yo-yo's, I caught a lot of crappie at night.

be careful on Conway at night this time of year or you might get to smoke a cottonmouth that falls off a tree limb into your boat with you

I am a 3rd generation Lake Conway fisherman, I was raised in a boat on lake Conway, my whole childhood and it just carried over to my adult life. , And my grandfather actually worked on the Construction of the Lake. I have fished Conway for over 40yrs. I lived water front on the lake for 28 years, and fished it daily. Now I fish Mostly weekends and afternoons after Daylight saving time rolls around. As much as I fish, I am a big supporter of Catch and release. I just don't need that much fish but still like to catch them.

I think that qualifies. Therefore, "Oh great one, what must one do to obtain eternal crappie bliss on Lake Conway?"
