Default Need help with 3D eyes size

I'm about to start painting my jigs for the first time I have 1/16th size minnow heads without the eyes. I need help to see what size eyes to use. I don't want to draw any eyes.

Do the heads have eye sockets? If not why not just put a black pupil on them. It's easy, just use black vinyl paint and a drill bit, no drawing to do!

With that size, I'm going to guess, 1/8 or 3/32

It also depends on which minnow head you have. Some of the sockets are bigger. The ultra minnow is different than the "H" style.

I would say to purchase a package of each to see which ones you like the best.

I would guess at 3mm or at most 4mm eyes. The guy from China is best place if he is still on Ebay? If interested in him send me a PM and I have his email on Ebay, just have not done anything with him in over a year.

I would also call these heads Walleye heads and not really minnow heads.

I have the JME-7-A1 mold ,which is the bard mold. The 1/16 and 1/8 heads calls for 1/8 eyes However on some of the sizes I use the next size up, because the holes are a little bigger.

    Didja get my return PM?
I'm sorry I didn't get to check that mold last night after work, had a ball game. But I'll check it tonight. I'm pretty sure it takes 4 mm.

In researching where to buy my eyes, I've noticed 99% of everyone referring to the guy from China. I've learned so much in so little time about tying and I thank y'all so much , but what makes his eyes better than the rest or is it just personal preference?
