    Default cocodrie lake 3/14/2017


    A friend and I didn't expect too much in that cool weather, but we caught a nice bunch of fish. I don't know if it was the color or the jig, but he was catching a lot more and bigger fish with a hair jig than I was with a tube. I have some hair jigs, but I never use them because I like to change colors often when not getting any bites and I hate to cut and retie. So, I dug into my box and found a beauty. He had an olive color. I found a blue with a white tail and an orange head. I immediately started matching him fish for fish . So there you go. Ended up with 30. Having trouble posting the pic for some unknown reason. Will keep trying.
