    Default Follow your first mind.

After much deliberation i decided to hit the water today. I fought and fought it because it was only getting into the mid 40s today. However something was telling me to go. I decided to hit honeycomb. Drove there from Huntsville, passed it. Told myself to head the 69 bridge in Guntersville. Drove there didnt even stop. Wind was blowing and i was not really wanting to deal with the cold. Headed back the way i came. Once i came over Grant mountain told myself i didnt drive this far not to try. Had to stop at honeycomb. Still not having faith i only took my pole no bucket or back up jigs. I still had a 1/24th jig with chart head and bg monkey milk on it. Its was about 2pm by now. Cast out thump, got one, 2nd cast no thump but line got heavy got another one. Ok its on, go get my bucket and back pack, and get back on them. They were hitting about 3-6ft deep. Wind pick up out the north they shut off. Left at 6pm with about a dozen. I can only wonder how many i would have had if i went with my First mind and stopped at honeycomb in the in the First place. The fish are putting there tuxedos on. Its just a matter of time. Yeah i no this post is kinda long. Hey im working on my writing skills. Blessings my friends Name: 20170315_224328.jpg

Way to tuff it out! Looks like this is the last cold for a while. The fish are wanting to go to the banks and spawn now. I think one good warm week and they'll be ready or at least on the lakes in fish anyway. Congrats and good report.
