Looking at humminbird helix 5 chirp w/ gps, DI for about 350

Putting a fish finder on my bateau. Looking for suggestions please - under $400. Mostly used for depth, speed, temp.
I have a lowrance elite 5 chirp. Down imagining, gps and chart plotter. But this is like the ford vs chevy conversation. I also have a lowrance hook 4 with the same features on the bow. Love both units. Sure you will get a lot of opinions on this.
PM me for a price...

I have this one and love it! I did have to send it back twice though but humminbird's service is second to none! Sent back the first time b/c it got moisture in it somehow, my buddy at work has the helix 7 and he had to send his back for the same reason. The second time I had to send it back b/c it wouldn't read the right depth. Both times they had my unit back to me within a week, had my buddy's unit back to him within a week also.

I have the Raymarine Dragonfly 4 Pro at the helm. It's CHIRP, DI and chartplotter and works amazingly well. It has the free Wi-Fish app which is wireless that I hook my phone up to and use it at the bow. I even bought a cheap 7" tablet to keep in the boat. It's like getting 2 finders for one. Shop The GPS Store for best prices. I've bought 2 from them after one got stolen(long story). They offer a 4, 5 and 7 screen size. Even the 7" is only 449.00! But the 4" screen is all you really need in my opinion. Really sharp and bright.
Just my 2 cents.

Mike, I just got the helix 5 chirp di gps gen 2 for $311 online last week and I love it! I clearly found and marked brushpiles with fish on them. Balls of bait fish and suspended fish showed up great! I would definitely recommend it![]()

Thanks for the suggestions. I went with the helix 5. Also got me a motor guide Xi5 w/ gps, and a millennium spyderlok setup. Now I just need some rods and I'll be ready to go. Got the gear, just need to figure out how to catch the fish![]()
