Thread: Chickamauga lake report: 3/09/17

Dr Phillip and I got out midday to put out some brush and to fish for a little while. We got the brush planted quickly and then came the search for the elusive crappie. Grin. We did manage to catch a good mess for dinner for Phil and Brenda. Phil caught the most, but I got to brag about the biggest fish that fell victim to a Bass Assassin Bluegrass Pro Tiny 2" lure fished on 1/16 oz jig. The fish that we caught were under docks. It got windy, so we quit for the day. We will be back out at the crack of dawn tomorrow to plant the remaining 2 crappie hotels that are sitting in my driveway. Before anyone asks, we will be putting them somewhere in the water that is 14 feet deep at least or more. Grin.
