    Default Lake Wylie 3-9-17

Got on the water about 8:30 this morning and started looing for fish. First stop, Remus and I caught a couple of willing crappies. Moved up Big Allison to another no fishing hole that Brett was scouting and managed to get 2 more crappies and couple of perch. Next stop was a favorite hump with not much to claim except 2 more crappies. Last spot paid off with the remainder of 1 crappie and I'd say 50 or so perch all good size 1/2 to 3/4 pound. Total crappie I believe was 7 with 1 catfish maybe 2 1/2 pounds and 77 white perch. Threw probably 20 perch back to grow. Gave some away at the pier. Met Mr. Charles on the way to the ramp and told him where we were. I don't know what all he had but he said he had some fish too! Miss Laura got the rest of the fish plus she and I cleaned out my freezer and she was a really happy camper. She got some deer sausage to boot. Had a great day with calm water until the wind picked up prior to leaving. Thanks Uncle Remus for a great trip. Hope we can get back out next week after work. Water temp was 59.3 on top. Thanks Brett for stopping to talk to us. I hope your motor does good for you, it looks great and sounds perfect.
