Default Cold Front Tips and Tactics

With old man winter wanting to show up this weekend and bringing 40 degree temp changes I was wondering if any members had any cold front tips or tactics to share for Crappies. It is a situation all weekend anglers deal with this time of year and can make for a tough bite! With fronts such as these moving in this weekend what would be your guess of how it will effect the bite and depths of crappie related to your experiences as a angler? Thanks in advance for your input!

    Here's my game plan:
    Tuff it out.

On the water this morning around 8:30, ran to a channel where I'd done well Saturday and let my Helix tell me how deep to fish. Wind was blowing 10 and I fished about 2 hours got 7 over 10". Wind started gusting over 20 with white caps so I moved to a channel on the leeward side of the lake. Unfortunately it gave up nothing but dinks. Catching dinks sure beats sitting at home wishing I was on the lake. Some victories are bigger than others.

I have been told but have no proof that temperature changes like this weekend won't effect a lot because the fish aren't on the banks spawning yet. If they were it would definately effect the bite. I'm not sure I really believe it but last year we ended up in winter clothes at Weiss Lake because of a front and we still caught a lot of fish. They weren't spawning yet and it really didn't seem to effect them.

Locally I can't say because there is way to many better days to fish and I will be sitting in front of a fire watching ballgames instead this Saturday. May try Friday or Sunday.
