Thread: Lake Seminole 3-8-17

We saw something today for the first time at the lake. We were idling along to a backwater pond and we heard a dog barking so we cut the boat off. Then we heard dogs barking and a hog squill. So I eased the boat over to some sawgrass and there was 2 dogs biting a small hog in the edge of the water. When the dogs saw me they ran off in the sawgrass. I tried poking the hog with my net but he could not go. The dogs had cut him on his neck and side pretty bad. We went and fished about a hour and the hog was gone when we came back by. I don't know if he made it out or the gator got him. We also had a good day fishing. No real big fish today except 2 14". We caught 45 in 10'- 22' of water on minners and jigs. All fished released for another day.

Interesting day, if you could have got pig in net with some crappie to fry could have had hawaiian feast. Thanks for posting!
