Good afternoon everyone, nice to be a part of a very informative board. Been reading for a while and finally decided to sign up. Thanks to everyone who shares info here. Quick question, just seeing if anyone on here fishes the Sabine for sacalait. I have always bass fished it and wanting to try my hand on the sacalait.....any advice would be appreciated. Thank you
Welcome and although it is closer to me than other places I go, I don't normally fish Sabine. Sorry. I do have a buddy that fishes it for bass and he usually pitches a beetle spin for sac au lait while bass fishing and catches a few.

River fishing can be fantastic as evidence of the reports from the Tichfaw and Tchefuncte Rivers. Check out those post. River fishing is a little different from deep water lakes or shallow bayous, but study it well and I think you'll find that you can catch some nice catches there.
